- It was another long morning playing daddy day care or Mr. Mom- whatever you want to call it. My firefighting schedule allowed my wife and I to keep both of our children out of daycare. I loved being able to stay home and watch our kids grow up but it was also some of the most trying times of my life, as watching two small children all day presented lots of challenges and frustrations. I had already been puked on twice and changed two poopy diapers. I made breakfast for my son who refused to eat it and had given my daughter 3 bottles before noon.
